Hi, I’m Leslie. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who grew up in Assumption Parish, Louisiana, where I developed a deep appreciation for family, community, and meaningful connection. Looking back on my younger years, I realize how valuable it would have been to have someone outside of my family to talk to openly about my thoughts and feelings. I had the love and support of my parents, but I believe another trusted person could have helped me understand myself and recognize my strengths much earlier in life.
That reflection is a large part of why I became a social worker. I wanted to be that person for someone else — a listening ear, a source of encouragement, and a safe place where people can express themselves without fear of judgment. I believe that having someone genuinely listen, offer a different perspective, and remind you of your strengths can make a lasting difference.
Outside of the office, family means everything to me. I am the proud mother of two adult children, Michael and Lauren, and a very proud grandmother to Blake, Denver, and Wren. I cherish making memories with them and enjoying life’s special moments. I also love to travel, dance, and relax with a good documentary, and I share my home with my yellow-naped Amazon parrot, Margarita, and my pet fish.

Education & Licensure
Teens (14+) & Adults
I especially enjoy working with older middle and high school students as they navigate adolescence — friendships, self-esteem, peer pressure, family relationships, and school-related stress. My hope is to offer young people the kind of supportive space I wish I’d had growing up.
I also enjoy working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, parenting concerns, or life transitions. No one should feel they have to figure everything out on their own.
Rates & Insurance
I am in network with Aetna, Anthem, BHS, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna/Evernorth, Curative, ESI EAP, First Health, LSU First (Tier 2), Meritain Health, MultiPlan, Optum, Ulliance, UMR, and UnitedHealthcare.
If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance company.
I do not accept Medicare or Medicaid plans.

My therapeutic approach is gentle, nurturing, compassionate, and client-centered. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental environment where people feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions. My experience in outpatient mental health, hospice care, and school social work has allowed me to walk with individuals and families through a wide range of emotional and life challenges.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, strengths-based practice, and person-centered therapy to encourage self-awareness, build healthy coping skills, and support positive change. Above all, I believe in meeting you where you are and helping you recognize strengths you may not yet see in yourself.
I understand that opening up is not always easy, and I want the people I work with to know they don’t need to have all the answers or the perfect words. Sometimes the first step toward growth is simply having someone who cares enough to listen.
