About Me
I am Haylie, born and raised in Prairieville. My journey in supporting others began early helping my mom in her preschool classroom and later working as a daycare teacher and nanny. These formative experiences ignited my passion for supporting kids, adolescents, and families through life's challenges, laying the foundation for my career in counseling.
Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me playing video games, spending time with my two dogs—Fanny and Oliver—or enjoying quality time with family and friends. Connection, laughter, and having spaces where I can simply be myself have taught me the value of feeling accepted and understood, and I strive to create that same experience for every client who walks through my door through warmth and authenticity.

Clinical Approach & Philosophy
I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued just as they are. My approach is truly integrative and grounded in Person-Centered, Relational, Adlerian, Family Systems, and Multicultural perspectives. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw on a range of tools to meet each client’s unique needs. I am especially passionate about play therapy and its ability to help children express themselves and process emotions through creativity, movement, and connection. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, building self-esteem, identity exploration, grief, neurodivergence, and life transitions. I am also passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and I'm committed to providing inclusive, affirming care for everyone! Whether I am working with a child navigating big emotions, a teenager struggling with identity development, or an adult working through relationship challenges or working towards personal growth, I aim to help clients recognize their strengths, build resilience, and move toward the life they want to create.
